2020 was a year unlike any other. While filled with challenges, we like to think that low points make small victories shine even brighter. Here are some of our proudest moments of the year.
We Went Plastic Neutral
We couldn't be more proud to be the first prestige beauty brand to partner with rePurpose Global to fund the collection, processing, and reuse of an amount of ocean-bound plastic waste equivalent to our footprint. Now every Alpyn Beauty purchase carries a Net Zero Plastic Footprint.
We Championed Environmental Caretakers
We partnered with Rue Mapp and her team at Outdoor Afro, the nation’s foremost not-for-profit network that celebrates and inspires Black connections and leadership in nature. We're proud to support OA’s mission of helping people take better care of themselves, their communities, and the planet–and turn dreams into actions.
We Won Industry Gold
When our cult-favorite PlantGenius Survival Serum was awarded Allure's Best of Beauty in the clean category and their editors gave us our dream review: “Plucked from the mountains of Wyoming, the plant-based ingredients in Alpyn Beauty PlantGenius Survival Serum are botanical cowboys: hardworking, resilient, and adaptable to environmental extremes.”
We Protected Mother Nature
We kicked off 2020 by joining forces with 1% For The Planet to donate and the Grand Teton National Park Foundation, to give a portion of sales to their Wild Treasures campaign. It protects one of the few remaining unspoiled landscapes in America, Grand Teton National Park (and is also the home of our super-powered wildcrafted wonders like arnica and chamomile).
We Launched A Quadruple Sellout
When we introduced our Wild Huckleberry 8-Acid Polishing Peel it sold out in 30 minutes! This magical 5-minute multitasker has become an instant best seller and went on to sell out three more times. We’ll continue working hard to sustainably produce it with the freshest foraged botanicals–that you can be just as proud to use on your gorgeous face.
